The Cutting Edge opened its doors in May 1998 in downtown Milton. The salon is owned and operated by Susan Kret. Since that time, The Cutting Edge has established a reputation for being one of Milton’s premier hair salons. In fact, the salon has won first place in the category of Favourite Hair Salon for the “Milton's Choice Award” most recently in 2008.

The Cutting Edge is absolutely committed to the interest and well being of its many clients and strives to provide a relaxing and enjoyable environment. In keeping with this philosophy, The Cutting Edge underwent a new and exciting transformation in the fall of 2007. This renovation included a full expansion with a completely new colour scheme and stylish contemporary furnishings to add to the clients experience. In this environment where client comfort reigns supreme, we have inported the most comfortable european sinks for our upper level. We constantly strive to discover your needs with a passion for every detail.

With education being an important key to our development, we are constantly rewarded with the amount of education that each of our stylists receives, and recognized that this education goes 100% back to you, our client.

We are very privileged and proud to announce that through their hard work, Aja Keith and Jesse Bondy have been invited to experience the World Wide Hair Tour in Berlin this October. They have both shown that through their hard work and dedication that they both have what it takes to be among the best in this industry. Katie Isaak joins them in Berlin as a model for the hair show! Be sure to check out our Facebook page in late October for pictures from this event.
